We opened Mile 42 Coffee in downtown Loveland in February 2020. Our name reflects our relationship with the bustling Loveland bike path, as the shop is adjacent to the 42 Mile mark. We are a community gathering spot and provide coffee, teas, smoothies, hot chocolate, coffee-specialty drinks, and a variety of pastries, bagels, breakfast burritos and related food items. We are locally owned and operated and are proud to be neighbors with the Loveland Hardware Store and the Eads Fence Company. We invite you to meet your friends and family at Mile 42 and enjoy our cozy shop and friendly employees.
A local legend resides on the banks of the Little Miami River – the Loveland Frogman. He (or she, or it!) has occasionally surfaced and appeared to citizens over the past 70 years. We don’t know if the Frogman story is true, but some Loveland merchants, including Mile 42, have embraced the legend in their stores and merchandise. We have also incorporated the Loveland Frogman in the name of one of our most popular drinks.
We are proud to use local vendors for our beverage and food offerings. Coffee Emporium supplies our coffee beans and they are Cincinnati’s oldest (and best!) coffee roaster. We source our food offerings from such local vendors as Fork and Pie, The Veg Head, The Bagelry, Bar-9, and Paleo Primal Sweets. Using local vendors exclusively ensures we serve the freshest, highest quality food and coffee products to our customers.
